E-Learning & Online Teaching Writing Examples

The following are examples of the documentation or multimedia I developed during my pursuit of the the Graduate Certificate in E-Learning and Online Teaching program at the University of Wisconsin-Stout:


  • During this course, we were to keep a Reflective Journal to includes notes about new ideas, perceptions, life and work experiences, "ah-ha" moments, and any frustrations felt about or during the learning process (EDUC 760, 2012).
  • In this course, I rewrote a face-to-face lesson so that it could be used for an online-only course, and to demonstrate the use of EASy critical thinking methods (Evaluate, Analyze, Synthesize): Online Community Preparedness EASy Lesson Plan (EDUC 761, 2012)
  • A project for this course was to create a graphical representation of a course outline which may include items such as the course's layout, navigation, static information and modules: Traffic Direction & Control Course Map (EDUC 762, 2012)
  • One project for this course was to create a graphic syllabus using Microsoft Visio and then saving as a PDF file with hyperlinks: Community Preparedness Graphic Syllabus (EDUC 763, 2013)
  • The purpose of the Mid-term Formal Reflection on Internship was to help me consolidate and deepen my professional thinking about the patterns and themes of the class that I was working in as an intern during the E-Learning Practicum (EDUC 764, 2013).
