This section of my e-Portfolio contains an electronic collection of items and evidence that shows my journey in the study of career and technical education and is a combination of process and product in that pursuit.
The University of Wisconsin-Stout's Education Specialist Degree in Career and Technical Education program is an advanced degree that is a minimum of 36 semester hours beyond a master’s degree. I completed this program in December 2014.
The Education Specialist Degree in Career and Technical Education at UW-Stout is intended to provide leaders for secondary and post-secondary schools, and in business and industry by providing them with further expertise in teaching, mentoring, coordination, training, and supervision (UW-Stout Graduate Bulletin, 2013).
There is considerable flexibility in this program with regard to selectives (elective subjects within CTE), and they may be taken as needed to fulfill the individual goals and objectives of the student. The following are the courses chosen for my program:
